Introducing the recto verso table.

this dining table looks back at victorian imagery through a twenty first century lens. with digital images inspired by local boston graffiti as well as the forest hills cemetery, this table is a unique combination of victorian graphics and cutting edge technology. the forest hills cemetery is a stunning victorian cemetery in boston, where local luminaries such as e.e. cummings, anne sexton, eugene o’neil and many more are buried.

the recto verso recreates the effect of the mysterious double sided drawings of the renaissance whose hidden images can only be seen clearly when illuminated, by using layers of digital images on lucite and custom designed LED fixtures. in addition to being lit internally, it is powered by a rechargeable battery with a three hour run time. this unique dining table measures three feet by six feet. it is available in red, white, or black versions.

produced in a limited edition of five, they are made to order by hand in boston, massachusetts.

price upon request.
